Who Should Apply
- Current or former music teachers that have a degree in music education
- You know basic guitar skills. You don’t have to be a great guitar player
- We’d rather have a great teacher than a great guitarist
- Available 1 – 2 hours a week to conduct class and provide student feedback
What You’ll Need
- A guitar (acoustic or electric)
- Computer with functioning camera and microphone that can run Zoom
- Reliable internet connection
- A somewhat tidy place at home to conduct weekly lessons
- A ‘can do’ mindset!
About Moosiko
Most people want to play an instrument at some point in their life but music lessons can be inconvenient and expensive. Moosiko Music School provides online guitar lessons taught by certified music teachers so students can learn and play music with their friends and family.
Moosiko was founded in 2019 to support K12 music programs. Used by over 500 school music teachers, Moosiko has helped 15k students learn guitar, ukulele, and songwriting both for in-person and online classes.
Moosiko is expanding into the private lessons market to help students learn music from certified music teachers. We’d love to have you help spread the joy of playing and making music.
